Default Get Rid of Kill Count Arena!

Whenever doing RA and I come to the Ember Light Camp arena, there is always at least one person who says, "Oh no I hate this arena!", while I'm always thinking the exact same thing. I don't know anyone who likes the arena, and most have the same feeling about it that I do. It's nice that you get a random map, but this map just sucks! Something new would be nice, or even just the same arena as annihilation would be fine.

yea the kill count arena are a nice change from the ave Spike kill in 3 secs thing. I mean a well organized team can totally own TA... seriously... its only 4 people... Spike 3 2 1 spike 3 2 1 spike 3 2 1 spike. Flawless victory...

the max Kill count map at least makes it a little longer then just that...

but there is always the people that can't be bothered to actually Play for more then 5 min at a time... sheesh whatever. unless its a easy thing that can be won in less then 5 min people leave. what a waste... I wish the game would penalize for leaving a battle on purpose. (meaning by map travel or logout) (Not for crashing or losing connection)

Kill count map is great for some builds, lousy for others. You play a lousy one obviously.

Its a good place to practice long term fighting. You should practice it more methinks. GvG and certain HoH maps have rez as the main issue in the fight; not just killing the enemy, but keeping them killed.

In other words, if you can only Spike a group once, kill them all, and they come back with 15DP and wipe the floor with your team because yu have no mana for dmg, then you need some strat.

Most people who will read this and agree with you that Kill count bites...have energy managment issues out the yang.

Take a tip for the Japanese i've seen in there: if you're worried about mana, kite them until the timer runs low and spike away. Unless they have the same problem you do, your heavy dmg low regen team should have little trouble getting the sudden death kill.

though...I do HATE when groups do that =/

Kill count arenas brings balance to builds that are strong when their allies are killed, iway, death necros, etc.

I like having arenas that help break up the monotony. Such as the new flag map, and the older priest map. The lava arena is also a fun place to play, because you don't have to kill everyone, just the opposing team's weakest member. This really makes well-rounded teams at an advantage.

Also... one time I was beat by this team of guys who just ran around and around the whole fight... They didn't win but ran until we gave up. So, I went in random, and what do you know? They lost someone, and I was in with them, and we got lava course. I walked straight to the lava and ended their winning streak. Hahaha. They were so mad, but I actually won, in a weird kind of way.

I love and hate it.
I tend to lose on it, because I'm cursed (really, I do well in Tombs and such but on that map I'm cursed)... so I hate it.
But it's a change from the other stuff, so I love it.

If you're gonna take out maps, take out the GODS DAMNED ASCALON MAPS! For Christ's sake every time I go in there I almost lag out, they're impossible to play in!
And I'm not the only one who gets absolutely rediculous lag on it, every other person I talk to IG joins me in complaining about the lag.

Forget the Crag, deal with those stinkin' Ascalon maps.

There should be a Random Arena UW map, like the old UW with all those hazy crystals and stuff.
